The Tower is the remaining part of a nine metre square hunting lodge, built by Lord Ralph Cromwell who resided at nearby Tattershall Castle. After approximately 30 years the Tower building was knocked down as the bricks were needed to repair the Castle. The octagonal Tower is all that remains. The Tower still stands and the only repair was made in 2012 with assistant from Historic England.
